GZFAO Updated: April 13, 2022

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, epidemic control measures on key venues in Tianhe District are strengthened as follows:

1. Entertainment venues (karaoke bars, ballrooms, and game halls), pubs, internet bars, chess and poker rooms, mahjong parlors, escape game rooms, foot massage centers, beauty & massage salons, bath centers, and other closed and semi-closed venues shall be temporarily closed from April 12 to 18.

2. Cinemas, indoor sports venues (gyms, swimming pools, and billiards parlors), indoor attractions, theatres, cultural centers, libraries, museums, and other closed and semi-closed venues shall implement safety protocols such as code scanning, travel code check, temperature check, mask requirement, and shall limit visitors to 50% of their capacity.

3. Dine-in services are suspended in the lockdown and partial lockdown zones of Yuancun Street. Catering service providers (including drinks shops, snack shops and breakfast shops) in rest of the district can offer dine-in services but must implement certain restrictions. They shall require customers to scan the venue code, show their travel code, have their temperature checked, and keep their masks up unless they are actively eating or drinking. They must limit occupancy to 50% and a maximum of 10 people per table. Serving chopsticks shall be provided and tables shall be distanced at least one meter apart. Food takeout and delivery are encouraged. Cafeterias of organizations shall require temperature check, code scanning, and travel card check for entry, reduce service hours, and provide dinning services on staggered schedule.

4. Key sites such as wholesale markets, farmer's markets, shopping malls (including supermarkets) shall strictly implement such measures as scanning health codes, checking travel codes, taking temperature check, wearing masks and practicing a staggered schedule to reduce gathering.

The above measures will be dynamically adjusted. Residents should stay alert and practice good personal protection such as wearing a mask correctly, washing hands often, keeping rooms well-ventilated, and maintaining social distance. They should also comply with the safety protocols as required.

The notification will take effect since the date of its release.
