A total of 21 enterprises from Tianhe district made the list of Guangzhou's 2021 innovative unicorn companies, which was recently released by the Guangzhou Association for Innovation and Technology.

Unicorn companies are pre-IPO startups with at least $1 billion in market value. Companies with a market value of at least $100 million are potential unicorns, while those with cutting-edge or game-changing technologies are seeded unicorns.

Guangzhou XAG and Guangzhou Huasheng Technology Information Service were listed as innovative unicorns, and 14 other Tianhe enterprises including Guangzhou Quwan Network Technology were named future innovative unicorns.

Guangzhou Yougu Information Technology and Guangzhou Sifeng Information Technology were the seeded unicorns, while three enterprises including Guangzhou UFLY Info Tech were listed as the advanced, cutting-edge and precise enterprises.

A total of 139 Guangzhou companies made the list of Guangzhou's 2021 innovative unicorn companies, which mainly cover fields of artificial intelligence, information technology, e-commerce, internet of things, new materials and new energy, biomedicine, big data and cloud computing, advanced manufacturing, the digital economy, and enterprise services.
