The working team of Tianhe district helped Luogang town in Meizhou sell 55,000 jin (27,500 kilograms) of rice, 10,000 jin of honey and 110,000 jin of sweet potatoes last year, with total sales amounting to 1.03 million yuan ($162,833).

Since arriving in Luogang town in July 2021, the working team has thoroughly researched the town's resources and development challenges.

"We found that although the town's agricultural products are of high quality, development has been restricted due to lack of sales channels," said Zou Sheng, leader of the working team.

They assisted in the introduction of leading agriculture firms and an online e-commerce platform as well as 17 offline enterprises and State-owned institutions in Tianhe, aiding in the sale of high-quality agricultural products.
