Tianhe Zhixin school to enroll new students in September
The Tianhe campus of Guangzhou Zhixin High School is scheduled to enroll its first batch of senior grade one students in September this year, according to He Yong, president of the Zhixin High School.
Guangzhou Zhixin High School was founded by Sun Yat-sen (1866-1925) in 1921 to commemorate the outstanding democratic revolutionist Zhu Zhixin (1885-1920).
The Tianhe campus opened on Aug 28, 2021 welcoming its first batch of junior grade one students.
Covering an area of nearly 323 mu (21.53 hectares) and a combined floor area of about 200,000 square meters, the campus can accommodate a maximum of 90 classrooms (30 for junior high school and 60 for senior high school) and can hold a total of about 4,500 students.
