A series of activities for migrant workers in Tianhe who cannot return to their hometowns for the Spring Festival was launched at the Tianhe district migrant workers service demonstration center on Jan 25.

The 13 activities and services include parent-child winter camps, youth social events, as well as careers guidance.

In addition, eight mini projects were jointly launched on the same day by the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Tianhe District Committee, the Tianhe Talent Port, and Tianhe District People's Hospital, aiming to further promote the sharing of social service resources.

They include integration services of policies related to working and living in Guangzhou, adolescent psychological and social health services, youth talent services, as well as night tours on the Pearl River to learn more about Tianhe.

The Tianhe district migrant workers service demonstration center, which was put into operation on Nov 9, 2021, has been making efforts to improve services for migrant workers in Tianhe and help them better integrate into local life.

It has carried out 25 volunteer and service activities like Party history education, public opinion surveys, and assisting people with difficulties, accumulating 324 hours in volunteer time.
