120 Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan startups settle in Tianhe in 2021
In 2021, the Tianhe Hong Kong and Macao Youth Association Headquarters registered 120 start-ups by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan youth that started operation and began generating revenue.
Among them, two enterprises have a market value of more than 100 million yuan ($15.8 million).
The youth association headquarters was opened in October, 2019 and covers a combined floor area of 2,561 square meters with 72 independent offices. It is one of the district's measures to integrate into the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and provide a platform for Greater Bay Area youth to start businesses in the district.

All the enterprises founded by Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan youth are free of rent at the youth association headquarters and are provided with free services such as business registration, tax declaration, one-on-one lawyer, talent recruiting, enterprise tutor, industrial financing, and policy guidance.
To date, there are more than 20 operation management and service workers in the youth association headquarters, of which 10 are from Hong Kong and Macao.
The Hong Kong and Macao Youth Venture Seed Fund was founded in the youth association headquarters last year. The amount of investment and financing by the fund for enterprises in the youth association headquarters reached more than 2 million yuan.
