The park was jointly built by the Guangdong Provincial Agro-Tech Extension and Service Center and the Tianhe district people's government. It is a demonstration project for modern urban agriculture.

It is composed of areas for urban leisure agriculture and picking experiences, smart farmland, green photovoltaic intelligent greenhouses, as well as greenhouses equipped with modern efficient facilities. It is a comprehensive platform that integrates functions like modern agricultural technologies promotion, modern agricultural science education, and agricultural skills training.

The China Agricultural Green Industry Conference and the 20th Guangdong Seed Expo took place from Dec 11 to 13, featuring eight exhibition areas, as well as a series of activities and forums.

The offline exhibition area spanned over 300,000 square meters, showcasing green agricultural technologies and digital agricultural achievements.
