COVID-19 update: don't travel to these places unless necessary
On Sept 22, Guangzhou released a notice asking residents not to go to medium- and high-risk areas including Heilongjiang and Fujian provinces, and exercise protection measures against COVID-19.
The following is a notice released by the Guangzhou CDC on Sept 22:
I. Individuals entering Guangzhou with a travel history to Heilongjiang after Sept 7 as well as people with a "red code" or "yellow code" should both immediately report to communities, work units or hotels.
II. Don't travel to Heilongjiang or Fujian provinces unless necessary. If you do need to go, please report to your communities and work units in advance.
III. Travelers returning to Guangzhou from other areas need to undergo self-health monitoring for 14 days. If your daily environment is crowded and relatively enclosed such as in schools, restaurants, and cinemas, it is recommended to receive a nucleic acid test after returning to Guangzhou. If you experience symptoms such as a fever, dry cough and fatigue, please immediately go to the nearest fever clinic with masks on and avoid public transport.
IV. Residents are advised to exercise protective measures and get vaccinated.
