The park excavated the wetland to enhance the functions of precipitation, oxidation, purification and stabilization as the center of sponge reservoir. A rainwater collection and purification system was established together with a permeable square and greenways, realizing the flood regulation and ecological self-purification.
There are also terraces and several small squares in the park to allow visitors to get closer to nature. Basketball and tennis courts were also built in the middle of the wetland, which are connected with the greenways to offer a good place for fitness.
