Taking body temperature measurements, showing health code apps, conducting nucleic acid tests.... all these procedures have become a must for Guangzhou citizens as they move around the city, and most of the supporting technologies are backed by tech enterprises from Tianhe.

The WeChat mini program Yuehesuan, through which Guangzhou residents fill in their personal information before booking a nucleic acid test, was developed by Tianhe-based high-tech company Zhongzhi Software.

Zhongzhi Software developed the mini program in just a few days in 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak. This May, when the pandemic hit Guangdong again, the company optimized the program to handle huge traffic - up to 1 million page views per minute. The upgrade has ensured the smooth progress of the mass nucleic acid testing program in the province.

Another mini program, Yuekangma, Guangzhou's version of the health code program, has become one of the most frequently used mini-programs by Guangzhou residents. It was designed by Tencent and Tianhe-based company Beiming Software.

Using big data technology, the mini program has guaranteed Guangzhou citizens’ safe travel during the pandemic.

Pingao Software, a Tianhe-registered enterprise, is one of the developers of the Guangzhou government's cloud service platform. It has provided reliable computing, storage and network resource services for more than 300 government agencies and public institutions in Guangzhou during the pandemic.

Moreover, another Tianhe company, Jiadu Technology Group Co, is a professional AI technology product and service provider. The company upgraded its intelligent thermometers in order to help Guangzhou’s COVID-19 prevention and control efforts.
