Land: There are 42 square kilometers of hilly regions available to be developed in Tianhe. Local undeveloped land is mainly located in the district's northeast areas.

Underground water: Tianhe boasts three brands of mineral water. With a temperature as high as 36 degrees Celsius, the local hot spring resource, mainly located between Tianhe Beilu and Shougouling, has been found to have rich microelements with therapeutic effects. Undeveloped mineral resources are mainly located near the Guangzhou East Railway Station. In addition, there are time-honored water wells in hilly regions of Xintang, Jishan, Longdong and Yushatan.

Mineral resources: Bismuth, tungsten, aluminum and rocks.

Underground timber: An underground forest is located to the east of Changban Village.
