The subsidiary will handle film and television content registration, advertising sales, and related core businesses across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and South China, strengthening iQIYI's market presence and influence in the region.

iQIYI has a strong user base and wealth of industrial resources in Guangdong. The company plans to work with local partners on documentary production, AI film and television creation camps, and the construction of an AIGC innovation center. The initiative aims to build an AIGC audiovisual industry ecosystem that uses the Greater Bay Area as a hub, reaches Southeast Asia and connects to global markets.

Tianhe is a key base for Guangzhou's digital culture and audiovisual industries, hosting numerous leading online audiovisual platforms with well-developed industrial support. The iQIYI project will further expand Tianhe's audiovisual industrial cluster and support the high-quality development of Guangzhou's AIGC audiovisual ecosystem.
