A delegation from Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates inaugurated RAK International Guangzhou LLC, a business consulting firm, at the Guangzhou International Finance Center in Tianhe. The firm marks RAK's first physical business platform in China.

The Tianhe Central Business District Administrative Committee signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, establishing a long-term economic and trade cooperation platform to facilitate bilateral trade between the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Middle East.

Under the MoU, both parties will create channels for collaboration, promoting partnerships between enterprises in Tianhe district and RAK, as well as among enterprises in Guangzhou, the Greater Bay Area and the Middle East. This will be achieved through targeted business matchmaking, mutual visits of business delegations, and joint participation in investment forums, exhibitions, and promotional events.

Dr Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, director general of the RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized Tianhe's vibrant business environment. He expressed hopes to provide clear, actionable pathways for local enterprises to enter RAK, create tangible outcomes by facilitating investments and attracting businesses, and ensure sustained exchanges between the business communities of both regions.
