Guangzhou's Tianhe Sports Center will host an international A-level men's football event for the first time in seven years when the 2026 CFA Team China International Friendly Tournament is held on Nov 14 and 17.

The event is organized by the Chinese Football Association and the Guangzhou municipal government, and co-hosted by the Guangzhou Sports Bureau and Guangzhou Football Association. China, Bahrain, Malaysia and Yemen will compete.

On Nov 14, Bahrain plays Yemen at 2 pm, followed by China against Malaysia at 8 pm. On Nov 17, Malaysia faces Yemen at 2 pm, with China taking on Bahrain at 8 pm.

The tournament marks Guangzhou's return to hosting international A-level football since the city staged China's 2022 World Cup Asian qualifier against Guam in 2019.
