Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Group, a large, modern private pharmaceutical enterprise in China, has registered a new company in Tianhe Smart City, a move expected to become a new engine driving growth in the pharmaceutical sector in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

This development followed the signing of a tentative investment agreement between Xiuzheng and the Tianhe Science and Technology Park Management Committee on Aug 21.

The establishment of this new entity signifies a crucial step for Xiuzheng's headquarters project in southern China, transitioning from investment intent to tangible operations.

The project, with an investment exceeding 3 billion yuan ($446 million), aims to build a South China headquarters base, a pharmaceutical manufacturing center, and a comprehensive R&D and manufacturing center integrating big health and Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT).

The newly registered company will serve as the key entity for the pharmaceutical manufacturing segment, laying a solid foundation for the project's future production and operations.

This development not only provides a platform for subsequent construction and research but also accelerates talent acquisition, equipment installation, and supply chain integration, helping drive the project towards early production.
