Tianhe showcases digital trade achievements at CIFTIS 2026
Tianhe Central Business District has taken advantage of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) 2026, which opened at Shougang Park in Beijing on Sept 9, to promote its achievements in building a digital trade hub.
Organized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, the promotional event highlighted the participation of 22 leading service trade enterprises from cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai, attracting nearly 200 attendees to discuss new development opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Tianhe's strategic advantage lies in its status as a National Digital Service Export Base, National Cultural Export Base, and National Data Industry Cluster, which have helped foster a unique digital trade model. The district strengthen to enhance its role as a national digital trade demonstration zone and contribute to high-quality digital trade development in Guangdong and beyond.
In 2025, Tianhe's GDP reached 701.7 billion yuan ($104 billion), with the added value of its digital economy surpassing 150 billion yuan. Since its designation as a national digital service export base in 2020, Tianhe has recorded over $10 billion in digital service exports, with an annual growth rate of 18.52 percent.
