High Torque Robotics, a tech company incubated in Tangxia, an urban village in Tianhe, has rapidly ascended to the forefront of the global humanoid robotics industry after six years of development.

Drawing on national platforms like the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, the company has expanded its reach to global markets. In doing so, it has secured orders from APEC economies, as well as from the United States and Russia, while earning accolades from industry pioneers.

Aiming to revolutionize the embodied intelligence era in the same manner as that of the personal computer, High Torque Robotics has developed desktop-level, high-performance robots to promote robotic innovation.

Its flagship products, including the bipedal robot Mini Pi, the open-source Mini Pi Plus, and humanoid Mini Hi, feature groundbreaking miniaturized joint motors. Notably, the Mini Pi Plus is the world's first desktop-class, high-performance modular humanoid robot, serving as a precise research and education platform.

In May 2025, High Torque Robotics showcased its products at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) in Atlanta, US, drawing significant attention.

Praised by industry leader Boston Dynamics, its pioneering work represents a milestone as it became the only Chinese firm to have its product further developed by the world's leading robotics company. This recognition has bolstered High Torque Robotics' international reputation, with overseas revenue now accounting for 30 percent of its total income.
