Tianhe hosts business exchange conference to help local companies explore ASEAN market
The Guangzhou Tianhe Business Exchange on ASEAN Market Development, featuring the theme "Connecting the World, Linking with ASEAN", took place in Tianhe district on Sept 4.
Over 70 representatives from various sectors, including AI, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and overseas business services, gathered to discuss opportunities and experiences in the ASEAN market.

Capitalizing on the concurrent 32nd APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Ministerial Meeting and the 21st China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair in Guangzhou, the Tianhe district government organized the event to help local enterprises tap into the Asia-Pacific market.
The event showcased Tianhe's dynamic financial and digital economy, impressing ASEAN representatives.
Keynote speakers, such as Raffles Chan from GITP.Asia, an innovation platform from Malaysia, provided insights into ASEAN market entry strategies.
The B2B session, a highlight of the event, featured eight priority sectors, including emergency security, healthcare, retail technology and artificial intelligence. Participants engaged in exchanges, with many discussing concrete collaboration plans.
Tianhe district officials affirmed their commitment to ongoing international trade and innovation exchanges, saying the district aims to bolster global engagement and contribute to the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
