Tianhe CBD achieves remarkable growth in digital service exports

The Tianhe central business district national digital service export base saw a compound annual growth rate of over 20 percent in digital service exports, highlighting the district's robust international expansion, according to a report released on Sept 1.

The report was unveiled at a meeting at the Google Export Acceleration Center in Tianhe district to showcase the five-year development of its national digital service export base.

Recently, Tianhe was selected by the Ministry of Commerce as a national digital trade demonstration zone, further accelerating the growth of its digital service trade industry with national support.

Zhi Yi, an official from the Ministry of Commerce, praised Tianhe CBD's achievements as a valuable model for similar industrial parks nationwide. Professor Wang Jian from the University of International Business and Economics emphasized that Tianhe's differentiated development path can be promoted nationwide.

The event featured practical insights, with experts like Yue Xuefeng from Xinhuaxin Technology and Pan Cheng from JD Technology discussing innovative export models and AI's role in reshaping cross-border entrepreneurship.

Since its inception in April 2020, Tianhe CBD has grown its GDP from 306.6 billion yuan ($45.6 billion) to 385.4 billion yuan and gathered over 25,000 digital service enterprises, solidifying its status as a national leader in digital service export, cultural export, and data industry cluster.
