Tianhe-based tech firm goes global with government-business support
Interactive Group Technology, based in Tianhe district since 2013, has exemplified the district's government-business synergy in driving overseas expansion, as the district, the core hub of Guangzhou's digital economy, has long empowered local firms to go global and scale up.
Currently, the company has maintained annual ad spend above 1 billion yuan ($149 million) for three straight years, covering major overseas social platforms and serving multiple countries. In 2026, it partnered with the French out-of-home media giant JCDecaux & VIOOH to launch a global large-screen marketing initiative.

Wen Ni, the company's overseas marketing partner, acknowledged that the company's rapid growth has been driven by Tianhe's prime location and robust industrial ecosystem. The company has shifted from local digital marketing to an "AI + globalization" track. Yet in some overseas markets, scarce local channels and limited access to information once held back its expansion.
After learning about the company's development needs, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Tianhe sub-council stepped forward with initiative to offer support, helping the company connect with more overseas cooperation opportunities and breaking down barriers in channel resources in an effective way.
The CCPIT Tianhe sub-council has utilized foreign-related commercial legal resources to provide free country-risk alerts, compliance training for overseas expansion, and cross-border legal consultations. Through major exhibition platforms, it has organized business negotiations and project matchmaking events on a regular basis, facilitating precise supply-demand alignment and addressing service gaps in the industry, thereby safeguarding enterprises in their overseas ventures.
