On Dec 7, Baiyun district reported that an international inbound traveler has tested positive during home quarantine. Currently, the patient has been transferred to No 8 People's Hospital of Guangzhou for isolation and treatment.

The patient returned to China on Nov 21 and departed for Guangzhou after completing his 14-day centralized quarantine in Shanghai on Dec 5. The person arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in the early morning on Dec 6 and was then transferred to Greenland Yunyang Garden for home quarantine. In response to the report, Baiyun district has taken immediate action and implemented control measures in Greenland Yunyang Garden and the surrounding neighborhood.
