The Guangzhou municipal health commission issued an important COVID-19 notice to all Guangzhou residents on its official WeChat account, urging all residents not to leave Guangdong province unless necessary.

Travelers who have just returned to Guangzhou should take a PCR test. Travelers from high-risk or medium-risk areas should report to local medical clinics immediately. Those who experience symptoms such as fever, dry cough, and fatigue should immediately go to their nearest clinic with masks on. Personal protective measures should be taken and vaccinations are advised.

COVID-19 notice: 

Dear residents in Guangzhou,

1. Don't leave Guangdong province unless necessary. Those who have already travelled outside should avoid crowds and gatherings. 

2. All inbound travelers from other parts of China should take a PCR test. 

3. Travelers from high-risk or medium-risk areas should report to communities immediately.

4. If you experience symptoms such as fever, dry cough, fatigue, please immediately go to the nearest medical clinic with masks on. Call 120 for medical help if you come from high-risk or medium-risk areas and have any of the abovementioned symptoms.

5. Stay safe and practice good hygiene. Always wear masks, wash hands frequently, keep social distancing, and reduce unnecessary gatherings and outings.

6. Get vaccinated.
